Susan Frances Fremit

Susan is the most thorough, meticulously organized and down to Earth attorneys I have ever met. She came in with facts that I had not even thought to bring in my case. You can't believe how easy the whole thing became when she took over. And, don't get in her way. She will explain everything to you and even hold your hand, if you need it, but let her do her job. She is the best!

Mrs Fremit is knowledgeable, detail oriented, and accomplished all tasks a week prior to filing dates. She explained the legal particulars of my case to me clearly. Due to a conflict of interest I could not be represented by a public defender. I was assigned Susan Fremit by the court, I did not retain her myself. She worked for little to no money(knowing what the courts pay). I was incarcerated until I made it through sentencing. While I was still incarcerated, Susan was willing to correspond to my girlfriend to update her and came to see me multiple times to get information for my case. She also came once to see me specifically to tell me about my family member's wellbeing and what might happen to them during the court process(which was not her job) Along with due process which was 5 separate court dates to be sentenced; there were two extra court dates regarding my release from probation. She arranged a more than favorable sentence for my crime with the prosecutor. Because of Susan I literally have a 2nd chance at a life without a felony conviction. In summary, Susan went above and beyond even though I didn't retain her personally.

For others looking, our daughter was ticketed for passing a school bus - which is a misdemeanor in the State of Virginia. Susan Fremit discussed things with me - and then with my daughter, to make sure we both felt comfortable with how she could help. My daughter did not see the flashing lights of the bus on the opposite side of the road and while another attorney suggested she plead to a lesser charge, Susan Fremit was willing to listen to her side of the story. I was in a panic but she calmed my nerves. Susan Fremit was not the cheapest - but we felt comfortable knowing she was the best. My daughter had been so afraid that she had stopped driving. On the day of the trial, Susan Fremit talked with the officer and the decision was made to dismiss the charge. It ended in the best possible outcome. YAY!!

simply a life saver. there was possible jail time with my offense not only she made sure i didn't go to jail she also got both cases dismissed. great lawyer shes not stringing you along for your money she actually works with you to get you to a good place. if you are a foreigner and need a lawyer she is the one
