On June 19th, 2020 my life changed forever. My friends and I were victims of an illegitimate stop, that resulted in an unlawful search and me in close quarters with an aggressive police K9. At the time I felt defeated, downtrodden and dejected by the evident profiling that occurred. The only time I felt justice would prevail was after meeting with the attorneys at HPS. John Hinrich, Pete Heidepriem and Mathew Tysdal reinstilled my hope and for that I am forever grateful. With their help, we were able to make history and change the law in Eight Circuit regarding traffic stops. Thank you so much to Pete for the late night phone calls answering all of my questions.
