Mr. Kaplan is, fortunately for my situation, rather even-keeled. He was asked to represent the interests of a contentious family trust following protracted and acrimonious negotiations leading to a Settlement Agreement that, among other things, laid out a framework for feuding Trustees to work within. (As part of the Settlement Agreement, counsel to the various parties involved in the SA were barred from continuing to represent these parties.) Mr. Kaplan quite ably stepped in as new counsel.
