Ed Mclaurin is a very thorough attorney who listens to his client, answers questions and calms fears. In court he is fearless and tough with results that are what we paid for. We are very happy with the work he did for us and will call him again if need be.

I cannot recommend Ed more favorably! His demeanor in the courtroom partnered with his knowledge of law are only made better by his ability to articulate his case. He impressed me with his passion to fight for my family from our first meeting. He truly cares about his clients and works tirelessly to insure the best possible outcome.

In March, we had a simple home refinance to do with the same bank that held our previous mortgage. We had absolutely no contact with Mr. Mclaurin nor did he attend or pop in for the closing. At the closing, I found 2 significant math mistakes that required our closing documents to be redone. This delayed the closing and we were kicked out of the conference room only to complete the remaining closing in the general waiting room. An automatic loan payment document was signed at closing but somehow was not faxed to the mortgage company from Mr. McLaurin’s office, and caused a big issue for me. In addition, after the closing date, an electronic closing payment was to be put in my checking account by Mr. McLaurin’s office however, they had the wrong numbers and had to mail a paper check several weeks later. All of these issues, for a $750 attorney fee. It was suppose to be a SIMPLE refinance!!

He is very dishonest! Also he will take all your money! Ask around and check out other lawyers. He also is very expensive, and shouldn’t be a lawyer. He will pull a slick one on you! I would not recommend him to anyone!
