I was referred to this firm through PrePaid Legal to collect a debt. They returned my call quickly and wrote a letter to the person for me, but I never did receive the small claims kit they told me they would send. I did call back and ask a second time. It seemed to me that I was imposing on their time with my petty matter. I was not satisfied with them.

I would not recommend them to anyone because they do not seem to have me in their best interest. They would say that they would be at a certain place and never come. In many cases with them, it would have been better going there myself than to use them. Not all of the members are that bad, it is just the bad outweighs the good. I prefer not to use them especially in unemployment issues that is ongoing now.

Rip Off Alert. Before choosing this firm, think twice or heck 3 times. I actually won my case with their representation. And I am giving them a bad review. Must be something. I never felt like they cared about me. The entire process was rushed and I felt like they bullied me into everything. They took advantage of me. And after $5,000 plus that i have paid, they say I owe another $3,500. I have asked for a cost breakdown and have yet to receive(9 months later). Guess I will see my rep in court.

He was very flippant and rude. He continuously cut me off when I was trying to explain my case to him. He kept telling me how expensive it would be to take my case further. He was completely checked out. He raised his voice at me like I was a child. I do not recommend this attorney to anyone.

I requested legal help in the area of family law, I was given inaccurate information by the firms layers that cost me money and time. After requiting that my retainer be refunded I was advised twice that the check was in the mail. It has been a month now and still have not received my funds. I was very disappointed in the information that I received and the level of service provided. I will not use this firm again and have cancelled my legal shield membership.

I submitted a written request explaining whats going on, wanting legal advise and to hire representation. This guy called me back, very rude from the first sentence, never confirmed he understood my case and sent me somewhere else. Please dont waste your time

PLEASE do not do business with this law firm it you want professional service. I have been a Legal Shield member for more than 2 years and the first time that I attempt to use their service it was HORRIBLE. After having a the first attorney (Daniel Jones) who was assigned to my case drop the ball, I was able to get my case re-assigned to another attorney (Alfred Phelps). Wouldn't you know Mr. Phelps completely dropped the ball as well. In addition, when I attempted to communicate my issue regarding their lack of communication, he got loud with me on the phone, over talked me and then hung up in my face. I hope that one of the partners of Deming, Parker, Hoffman, Campbell & Daly see this review because they have some unprofessional and low class attorney's like Mr. Alfred Phelps who don't deserve to represent their company.

I was referred to this law firm by Legal Shield. I was rear ended and pushed into another car in front of me while standing still in traffic. The woman who rear ended me said she had been at her dentist so I believe she was still under the influence of anesthesia since she rear ended me at a fast rate. Totaled my car and damages to car in front of me. I ran up all my credit cards paying copays for my physical therapy and was injured and after this accident I still suffer with consequences. My atty was Nicholas West who I never met. He was lax about taking my calls and only gave me lip service. After paying my credit card bills and advising West that I could no longer charge expenses, I had to start living off of credit cards. After 3 years of no help from them and Legal Shield telling me that was the only law firm in the area I decided to change lawyers. By this time the person had moved to another county and refused to be served even though she was at home.

Horrible Law Office. Very unprofessional. Attorney Ben Star has a terrible personality and disposition. Tell us, the clients to go to the court and get a continuance because he can't make it to court. I am canceling our membership.

Want to give negative stars. Using this company through Legal Shield for traffic violation. Continued to change the court date and then did not show up for court! Do not communicate back about what is going on or what they have done. Very upsetting.
