Johanna was so kind and compassionate in dealing with my sensitive situation. She was honest and clear about the best way to move forward and how each direction could potentially look. If you want someone who doesn't return your calls or emails, talks a big game but then doesn't follow through, definitely hire Johanna. I have never come across someone who DOESN'T know the law more than her. I had to inform her of certain laws and then she would act like it didn't matter. STAY AWAY FROM HER. She sounds out of it, not who you want representing you in a court of law.

Johanna is a dangerous person to work with. Avoid at all costs. She is completely unethical and has no ability to listen.

She knows less about family law than most paralegals and will show up unprepared and without knowledge about your case. Working with Johanna was a nightmare. She will treat you like a child, talk to you as if you're an idiot, and cost you a fortune. Run away quickly and save yourself the pain that I endured.

She is unprofessional does not respond to emails she will just take your money. I don’t know why she is even practicing wish I would had read about her more. It will feel like she represents the opposite party. She did nothing for my case but take all my money. Don’t hire her to represent you if you want to lose your case or lose custody she does nothing to defend you. Forgets everything important to the case and will get upset if you call her on it.

Johanna promotes herself as an advocate for woman dealing with abuse. Unfortunately I found her to be just another type of abuser. My child custody case lost ground with her at the helm. I paid her dearly to appease my ex while sending me expensive and pedantic emails. Her performance at my hearing was disappointing. She is covering up her mistakes by refusing to request the minutes to that hearing. I am also taking this all up with the state bar.
