I was very pleased with my attorney at the beginning, but then the legal assistant became very hard to get hold of, provided me with incorrect information regarding my court location and then my attorney seemed to be working for my soon to be ex instead of me.

Hired Attorney Mr. Paul Kennedy

Complete failure! Bawled out by the judge during the hearing for failing to represent me properly- submitted incomplete paperwork resulting in my case being dismissed. Then he turned it around and tried to blame me. (Yes, I am a woman- another example of his contempt for women) Beware!!!

First let me start by saying this is a corporate law firm chain and is ran as such. If I would've have known this prior to retaining counsel, I would have gone to a private firm without any hesitation to handle my divorce. Initially things were going exceptionally well, responses to my emails were prompt, accessibility to answer my calls was great, and the guidance was crystal clear and everything that was stated was going to be done was without delay. Well that was 4 months ago...today that's not the case. I'm more frustrated then I am satisfied. If your attorney responds to an email or takes a call from you....THERE'S A FEE!!! I understand some of the fees incurred but some of them are overkill and totally unnecessary. Also because this is a chain law firm, I believe the attorneys case loads are extremely overwhelming and they don't have the bandwidth to really focus on your case providing your case with the personal attention that it deserves.

They were expensive, took to many years to settle, had a lousy mediator and didn't have the same lawyer continuously. disappointed in the settlement and being talked out of going to court.

After a favorable social study they still took 6 months to go to court while I paid $1100 unnecessary support. The whole change in visitation/support was agreed and they took 2 years to get it done. Daily phone calls would go unreturned for 2-3 weeks at a time. I would never recommend them or my specific lawyer, Julie Johnson, again.

Hired Attorney Mr. Paul Kennedy

Hired Paul Kennedy for a contempt case a month ago. When I noticed he hadn’t lift a finger on the issue I hired him for.. I reached out to let him know that it’s okay if he’s not passionate about the child’s well-being. I gave him a chance to relinquish his responsibilities. I guess he thought the one email would satisfy my expectations.. I called the office a week later .. secretary confirmed no work has been done or that anything was filed and he was out of the office for COVID 19.. I call bulllll! Immediate FIRE. Spending thousands of dollars for representation should include someone who has determination to execute and win .. this is not the man for any family case.
