Even though we have our own excellent attorneys, we were highly recommended by someone we trust to retain D. Hiep Truong for a high exposure case. Our company was issued a citation by the California Department of Industrial Relations, DLSE, for a high exposure amount in the six figures for DLSE’s version of violations of the Labor Code. Hiep was retained on March 10, 2022 for a Trial set for March 28, 2022. On the day of Trial, Hiep was able to get the citation dismissed, and saved our company from paying the six figure amount. I have found that Hiep is a very thorough, conscientious, diligent, and thoughtful attorney. He was able to obtain convincing research in such a rapid manner that the Deputy Labor Commissioner was unable to refute his analysis and research. I highly recommend Hiep for your complex and high exposure cases.

We were having issues with counsel previously assigned to a claim, and reassigned to Hiep to aid with resolving a workers' compensation claim that was dragging on unnecessarily. Under Hiep's direction we were able to resolve the workers' comp matter quickly, and also an outstanding medical lien issue, which Hiep was able to resolve well under authority. Highly recommend for civil litigation issues in California, which can be difficult to navigate for companies.

I wrote a similar review on a different website, but wanted to post one here as well. Ms. Rosenthal was my defense attorney for a landlord/tenant matter when she was with Manning and Kass in downtown Los Angeles. I never felt like I was in good hands with this attorney and if I had it all to do over again, I would have hired another to handle this case. Ms. Rosenthal was more interested in getting me to settle on terms that were quite advantageous to the plaintiff. If you are being sued in any type of landlord/tenant or other real estate matter and really want an attorney who will fight for you, look elsewhere.
It is a hostile and toxic work environment, allowing partners like Dave Reeder to insult, demean, humiliate, and bully you. Attorneys' abusive and degrading behavior towards staff is permitted. HR will pretend to conduct investigations but eventually do nothing about it, empowering and boldening his behavior. No direct deposit Checks will bounce, or you won't receive your check on time They will allow other partners to steal your billables, “David Reeder,” notoriously known for that. My advice is to run as far as you can from this horrible firm.
