Butler Law's team are highly responsive and efficient. In the past, I've had a difficult time getting timely responses from attorneys I've worked with. That was never an issue with Sara and the rest of the Butler team. Despite their busy schedules, they have the resources in place to address client needs and the expertise to do so effectively. Kindness matters. Elyse and her team are knowledgeable and comforting through the horrible process of child support. Paperwork is filed on time and the process is explained very well. I interviewed a lot of lawyers and Elyse and her team stood out for her calm and compassionate demeanor. Filings were done on time and the process was explained very clearly. She also was willing to work with me on the costs of legal representation.

I think the first consultation can/will tell you a lot about a firms intentions. In my experience, I was treated with respect and they honestly wanted to hear my concerns and answer my questions without trying to cut me off or sell me anything. I definitely recommend inquiring with them.

Beware!! They initially told me that an uncontested simple annulment would not cost more than 3K. At the very high end, the average cost of annulment is 5K. Mine was completely uncontested and they charged me an astonishing $6,100. Then to top it off. When I disputed many of the charges, they WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION, charge my CC over 2K. This firm is nothing more than a complete ripoff. They litterally charged me $475.00 for one month of copies on uncontested annulment! There are many other firms that you can find that will do simple legal work at fair and reasonable rates, but certainly not this one...Don't waste your time or money!
