I'm a Southern California lawyer ☀️ who started from the bottom of the legal field as a legal assistant and has risen to own and operate my own law firm. I have extensive experience in legal research, legal writing, and implementing efficient procedures to minimize cost to my clients and ensure that my clients get the best possible results.🏆 In law school, I received an American Jurisprudence award in nearly all of my courses. This is a big deal, as the American Jurisprudence award is awarded to the student achieving the highest grade and rank in the class for a particular subject (e.g., Torts, Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, Evidence, Family Law, Civil Procedure, etc.). Among the classes I received an American Jurisprudence Award were Criminal Law, Contracts, Legal Research and Writing, Civil Procedure, and Business Associations.🎯 In practice, I fight zealously for my clients to achieve the best possible results. I don't back down from a fight, and I explore all possibilities to get my clients positive results. Vincent was recommended to me by a traffic lawyer and I’m grateful for him. I was involved in a hit and run by a drunk driver but was later found. Upon meeting with Vincent it was clear that he is the right one for the job. He did an amazing job explaining clearly detail of the case and immediately got to work. He was honest and very straight forward. His main concern were my health and well being so immediately he got me the medical treatment that i needed and in no time my vehicle issues with the insurance was taken care of. He got the insurance to come out fast and got me back on the road. Vincent was always calling to check up and it show alot of what kind of person he is. Outcome of the case greater than expected thanks to Vincent dedication and his eager to help his clients get what they deserve. I had the very unfortunate circumstance of my previous counsel passing away do to long, hard fault health issues. Mr Vincent Hughes, took care of my case very aptly and ensured that I do not have to face any jail time. He was very supportive as I was not very cooperative with him at the starting of the case. He is a wonderful human being with lot of patience and guided me what was best for resolving my case and getting a minor conviction which should ideally not impact my immigration application . He was kind enough not to charge me for my second case which was violation of a court order. Both the cases were resolved in one single day . He is very responsive on email and phone .

My advice is to respond to alll clients in a good manner I was a client and I will be waiting for a response more than months and still don’t respond And don’t stand your clients up at court there was a court date that was scheduled and you tell us all the way when we’re half way to court that your in fear for your life. A kindly remember to reschedule would have been nice….

Absolute nightmare! Great at first but that quickly changed. Don’t let his smooth talk fool you. My case started off great. He filed the necessary paperwork the next day. He was informative and reassured me. He was accessible. He was attentive. On our initial meeting, he stated that my case was “clear cut” and there should be “no problem” with my defense. When it came time for trial, there were now 3 “red flags” that concerned him, none of which he brought up during our initial meeting. I felt betrayed and mislead. I didn’t prevail in court and to add insult to injury, I have to pay the other party’s fees. This was the first part of my case. Starting the second part, communication started to fade. Phone calls and emails were never answered. Deadlines were missed to file important paperwork. This guy completely stopped communicating with me. I had to use unknown numbers to contact him on his phone. Now I have to hire new representation. A complete failure. Do not hire him.
