Hired Law Firm

I contacted Mr. Noelke's law office regarding a real estate matter in which the broker committed fraud. His assistant stated that consultations are $270 per hour. When it was time for our appointment, I never received a call as I was told I would get. I had to call them and the tone was unprofessional. I was charged $370 for speaking with him for 52 minutes and was later told it was due to my sending documents over to them. At no time was I notified of the extra cost. And the advice was poor.

This comment is inaccurate and unfair. We quoted $275/hour for all work, as we always do. The client sent 50+ pages of documents for review, and she objects to paying for that time. The advice provided was sound, and the charges are legitimate.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

Attorneys that receive reviews from their peers, but not a sufficient number to establish a Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating, will have those reviews display on our websites.
