I hired Andrea Bopp Stark !. at the begining of a fraudulent foreclosure. There was court ordered mediation on that day , the bank lawyer never showed up for mediation. I said, " I could clearly not afford to drive 1hr away , sit there for hours and wait . ? We discussed it and she did file for Sanctions against he foreclosure king Attorney Brent York. It was clear she would get the funds we recaptured from that complaint. But SHE QUIT , said , she had too ??? But she did not !
Communicated poorly, did not explain complex information clearly. Only 1 out of 10 phone calls returned, usually not timely. Basic information was given and helpful but service was poor, communication was essentially non-existent, no itemized bill was ever given for the use of $2900.00, and zero monies were returned. I was ripped off and the firm has not given me copies of any of their work to use to hire another lawyer. They advised to withdraw, refile, then refused to represent me.
The most arrogant and rude person/attorney I have every had the displeasure of working with on a matter. His associate, Tanya, however, was marvelous. Because of the limited number of bankruptcy attorneys in Maine, some may have to work with him, but I feel sorry for them.
Did not fight for me, allowed my case to be thrown out after 3 years. Would not recommend. Thanks for nothing Barry
