Eric is a good lawyer, done a great job representing me as a client
Eric was extremely timely, responsive, prepared and spent time preparing me as to what to expect on court day and beyond. I will use Eric any time I have a legal need in the future...hopefully that will not be necessary, but it is nice to know that if it is, I can be confident in my representation.
Eric has been an invaluable resource for my husband and I in both our child custody/child support matters as well as an adoption. He is personable, responsive and available. He was well versed in the matters we used him for and I would certainly recommend him to others who needed an attorney. If we had questions between court appearances, he and his staff did not hesitate in getting back to us in a timely manner.
TERRIBLE LAWYER! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. canceled my court case twice on the day of and did not inform the court so I had to go an represent myself for 2 trials. No communication until the day prior. He should be ashamed to consider himself a lawyer.
Didn't show up to court, or provide any documentation regarding my case after being paid. According to Google reviews, this is not the first time he has done this. He assured me all was well, he would represent me & I did not need to show up to court. Sure enough, I got a letter in the mail of a guilty verdict as apparently NOBODY showed up on the date of my hearing. His office didn't contact the courts to even let them know he was representing me. I would have been better off representing myself & actually showing up! I would like folks to consider looking elsewhere for reliable representation. Mr. Spencer either had a lot going on, and was unorganized (he should communicate this better?), or he simply did not care of the outcome & was inattentive (likely). Both options are unacceptable when you take payment from somebody to do a job & then don't show up. And to blame it on the office personnel, though he, himself, took the payment? Very poor taste & poor business practice.

TERRIBLE LAWYER! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. He canceled my court case twice on the day of and did not inform the court so I had to go an represent myself for 2 trials. No communication until the day prior. TERRIBLE PRACTICE, TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION, BASICALLY STOLE MY MONEY AND NEVER SHOWED..
Mr. Spencer never returns e-mails or phone calls. He withdrew from my case one month before trial then refused to transfer the files to my new attorney until 3 days before the case was scheduled. His inactions caused the case to be continued twice and cost me thousands of dollars to retain a new attorney. He never returned any of my phone calls and his receptionist is very rude. I would never recommend him to anyone!
