Apparently only good reviews are allowed onto this site. Don't be fooled, check all other sites that have reviews on this company as they average a 2. I've been with them for quite some time, and they have always been a bit short with the client. This last time the supervising attorney told me that he disagreed with the judge when I was told a specific fact about the law. Then when I said I would likely have to change law firms, he replied, "that's good." I'm not even sure that most of the people you speak to actually have law degrees. This is definitely the "Ford Pinto" of Law Firms. Users beware.
So far they have not added any value. I am still waiting for them to add value. If I get what they promised when I signed up and took my money, then I will update this review.
I found Ms. Sheridan to be unpleasant to deal with. Her ability to communicate, show compassion and explain things well was atrocious. She was curt, abrupt with conversation, and I experienced her to be condescending and cynical; difficult to work with.
Would not recommend this lawyer to anyone for anything. Will have to ask if he can be completely taken off of the list of lawyers for our prepaid legal services. Highly disappointed with the services after dealing with him.
All reviews here are fake!!! The absolute worst service I have ever received. The lawyer I was assigned to, Rita Nalio at Parker Stanbury, was the worst lawyer I have ever had to deal with. Her incompetence level is through the roof. Aside from being extremely rude and condescending and clearly lazy, she was completely unprepared and clueless of any real estate laws and tenant/landlord rights and I myself had to educate her and send her the city's ordinances. I had to hand-hold her the entire time. Initially she told me one thing about my case and promised to write the landlord a demand letter. Fast forward to weeks of silence later and a switch flipped. All of a sudden she started arguing with me and defending the landlord who had a more expensive lawyer. And my case was bulletproof with a written statement from the city's Rental Board supporting me. So basically she charged Legal Shield her fee for not doing a single thing, got either bribed or threatened by the landlord's lawyer,
I would like to legally file a grievance against one of your staff members, Rosemary Merril, who told me to be quiet and was tallking very rudely and condescending towards me. I am a disabled veteran and I do not accept that abuse. Your firm has now lost a potential paying customer and I will take my business elsewhere, to a law firm that actually cares. -Jill
This legal service is part of legal shield a free bonus from employers and a monthly pre-paid legal service. These hacks sent me a letter filled with typos and a disclaimer that "this is not evidence" from someone who is not my client.
We had a horrible experience with them. We provided damning evidence of fraud on a large scale and they literally tried to gaslight us into thinking we just forgot that we took out a $30,000 fraudulent loan (we did not).
I do not recommend this law firm. They are unresponsive, lack integrity and they do not have their clients best interest in mind.
I have been a member of Legal Shield since 2005(over 15 years). I was an executive director for the company that used Parker Stanbury as their primary law firm. I say all that to say I've been here longer than most of the attorneys on staff. I finally just canceled my membership. I've had issue after issue with Parker Stanbury. They are the most arrogant law firm I've ever dealt with. Absolute trash! I've had attorneys hang up on me. I've had to argue with emotional & irrational attorneys trying to give me their subjective opinion when what I was asking for is what the law actually says. I've had many lazy attorney I could tell were completely guessing. It goes on and on with how many bad experiences I've had with Parker Stanbury. This is the last law firm I'd trust with anything important. Their work ethic and integrity are questionable at best. They don't respect their clients & they treat us like we are bothering them.
