Hired Attorney Michael Huyoung

He is an unethical money seeker who will bleed you of every penny you have and then in the midst ask for more money....Beware....His ego is over inflated and he is a control mind manipulating arrogant businessman..Do yourself a favor, go elsewhere..When I did my new lawyer charged one fourth the price and took care of me 100%.

Hired Attorney Jennifer Crossland

My sister used Ms. Crossland, and this attorney used very little communication. Ms. Crossland promised many things only to retrieve the retainer, however, as soon as she was challenged, she dropped the case as others here have mentioned. She took the large retainer and continued to bill after she dropped my sister as a client, and continued to bill. Furthermore, she corresponded with the opposite counsel without keeping my sister cc'd or in the loop. Buyer beware

Mr. Karanian does not litigate only negotiates. Do not hire if you need to go to trial for contact refusal or your kids need reunification therapy.

As I write this I understand as of today, your work on our case is considered "closed". However, I felt it necessary to share some level of detail as to the end result of all your hard work, similar to if someone were to write a review I felt you would at least want to be aware of the current state of affairs. The visitation order as it stands is "gray" space, it is left full of gaps leaving room for mother to interfere with contact. We anticipate this, we knew that without clearly defined language in our visitation order or accountability the alienating tendencies would prove to make the other parent incapable of decision making. After two years of temporary orders, and more than 5 years fighting this scenario we have been setup for failure.

Hired Attorney John Karanian

Mr. Karanian rushed through without considering our concerns or modifications to a visitation order for what should be included in the document. He said he didn't have time to print it, so it wasn’t included in our revisions, therefore none of it made it to the judge. The final visitation order was crafted so badly that the mother is still manipulating my visitation to avoid contact by exploiting the gaps in the order that allow her to interfere with contact. We've been set up for failure after two years of interim orders and more than five years of fighting this predicament. Do not hire Mr. Karanian if you want need real litigation, or sound judgement. He will use custody evaluators to do his dirty work, wont present evidence and will waste time and money trying to negotiate poorly written orders.

Hired Attorney Hon. Brian Jones

Brian Jones is arrogant, condescending, doesn't listen to his client and thinks he is the smartest guy in the room. He came to court unprepared, did not fight the case at all. He sat back and watched his client get destroyed. Why? Unprepared, doesn't know how to really argue a case, is a disaster, doesn't have the energy, presence, mentality and guts to stand up and fight the good fight. He let a small town, female lawyer use him as a mop and kicked him all over the court room. He is the worst attorney I have ever known and I know dozens upon dozens. He dresses for court like he just woke up: shirt and suit wrinkled and shoes scuffed and worn out. How in the world would anyone award him anything, let alone it is rumored he is up for being a judge in Chesterfield. Never hire him for a family law case. If you are looking for a lawyer for appearance sake, and the case is "No Brainer, Slam Dunk," then he might do.

Hired Attorney Jennifer Crossland

Ms Crosslands worked harder for the other client and Attorney than for me. I lost my case before it even started and she was not an advocate for me. She provided very little guidance and when faced with a very difficult issue, she basically threw in the towel. I am still trying to recover emotionally from this traumatic experience. I would not recommend Barnes and Diehl to anyone.

Hired Attorney Jennifer Fox

I Hired miss Fox for a child custody case Where my son was living with his homeless mother who is a known active drug and alcohol addict, Who also suffers medical depression. To make A long story short, miss Fox turned on me & my case with The Guardian et litem. Who happened to be a friend of the family of this mother, for political gains in the future where The Guardian is to be seated as a judge. Ms. Fox was very unattentive to my case and sided with the Guardian and threatened my sons relationship against me if I wasn't to settle just moments before the hearing.
