Obtaining results for our clients through zealous advocacy, creative and cost-effective strategies, and experience.
BerlikLaw is regarded as a firm that wins cases. Clients trust us for advice in matters ranging from pre-litigation strategies and solutions to advice with respect to when and how to try cases. Unlike many firms, the philosophy at BerlikLaw is to approach each case as though it will be tried, not settled. As a small firm emphasizing client service over billing time, BerlikLaw focuses on trial strategy from the very beginning of a case and on doing what it takes to win at trial and accomplish the client's business objectives at a minimum of expense.

Hired Law Firm
Lee Berlik was exceptional from our first meeting. He listened intently and patiently asked questions to thoroughly understand my situation. He remained aware of my limited means of financial resources if a protracted litigation were necessary, but this did not minimize the effort and professionalism exhibited on my behalf.{para}Hopefully I will not be in need of legal services in the future. But if so, Berlik Law, LLC, and Lee Berlik will be my first choice.
Lee and his staff provided excellent representation on a complex legal issue. His firm was very thorough, prompt with every aspect of my representation, and perhaps most importantly, provided the correct strategy to navigate this legal challenge.
We were very impressed with Mr. Berlik. He consistently went above and beyond our expectations throughout the representation. Lee's tenacity led to our satisfactory completion of the matter. We will definitely want Mr. Berlik on our side in any future matters.
Lee Berlik provided valuable insight, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and clearly knew how to present the facts of my case in the best possible light. (I have a huge damages award to prove it!) His expertise, communication, and professionalism were truly exceptional. Highly recommended!
I encountered an issue from a former employer as I left that company. When they added an external lawyer to my case, I knew that I would need legal council of my own. I found BerlikLaw LLC on-line based on feedback from other users. Lee Berlik did a great job of representing me with accurate advice and guidance. The issue was resolved without any fines or other judgments against me. I felt very comfortable in working with Lee who kept me well informed throughout this difficult process.
Lee listened to my situation attentively and was able to establish an effective plan for resolution of my issues. He was forthright in his approach to reaching a solution quickly and most cost effectively on my behalf
If you are looking for a one hour general overview and standard lecture on defamation and libel, then by all means, pay Lee Berlik $350.00 for his one hour initial legal consultation. However, if you are looking for an attorney to review your specific case and to provide a legal opinion based on your case, I would save the $350.00 and look elsewhere for an attorney. There are PLENTY of great attorneys that do not charge the initial legal consultation fee and who happen to actually review the evidence that you provide them, and provide an opinion specific to your case. In short, we thought we were paying $350.00 for Lee Berlik to review the evidence that we provided, and we would receive a legal opinion specific to our case. Lee Berlik did not review the evidence we provided, and we spent $350.00 for a general overview and standard lecture on defamation and libel, that had absolutely nothing to do with our specific case.

Martindale-Hubbell® Client Review Ratings™ display reviews submitted by individuals who have either hired or consulted the lawyers or law firms.
The Client Review Rating score is determined through the aggregation of validated responses. People who submit reviews are either individuals who consulted with the lawyer/law firm or who hired the lawyer/law firm and want to share their experience of that lawyer or law firm with other potential clients. Reviewers can be anyone who consults or hires a lawyer including in-house counsel, corporate executives, small business owners, and private individuals.
Martindale-Hubbell validates that a reviewer is a person with a valid email address. As part of the review process, respondents must affirm that they have had an initial consultation, are currently a client or have been a client of the lawyer or law firm identified, although Martindale-Hubbell cannot confirm the lawyer/client relationship as it is often confidential. The content of the responses is entirely from reviewers.
Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome and Martindale-Hubbell accepts no responsibility for the content or accuracy of any review. For more information on Martindale-Hubbell Client Review Ratings, please visit our Client Review Page
Martindale Peer Reviews
Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings™ are the gold standard in attorney ratings, and have been for more than a century. These ratings indicate attorneys who are widely respected by their peers for their ethical standards and legal expertise in a specific area of practice.
The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.
• Notable: This rating indicates that the lawyer has been recognized by a large number of their peers for strong ethical standards.
Lawyers who have received peer reviews after 2009 will display more detailed information, including practice areas, summary ratings, detailed numeric ratings and written feedback (if available). Details for individual reviews received before 2009 are not displayed.
Attorneys that receive reviews from their peers, but not a sufficient number to establish a Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating, will have those reviews display on our websites.
Ratings and reviews are feedback from people who have either consulted an attorney about an issue (but may not have hired the attorney) or people who hired an attorney as a current or former client and provided their feedback to our sister site, Avvo.com.
