My case ended up going to trial and Mr. Matheson demonstrated skills in defending my case that blew me away. My wife and I are both over 70 years old. A traffic attendant at the RDU airport refused to let me park at the curb in the Arrivals area so that I could locate my wife. The attendant acted rudely and unprofessionally towards me and other drivers, summoned the Durham police to cite me for a level two misdemeanor, and falsely claimed that my car had struck him (the airport video cameras showed that this was not true). I was very worried about the outcome of this case, and I asked Matheson and Associates to defend me. Matheson and Associates charged me only their regular rate, went to court on my behalf, and succeeded in having the charge against me dismissed. I did not have to appear in court, and I did not even have to pay court costs. I will definitely use Matheson and Associates again if I ever need legal help.

These guys saved me big time. Highly recommend! Had 4 charges - DUI, Reckless, Seatbelt Violation and Driving on a Suspended due to a single car accident cause by avoiding an animal. The vehicle flipped several times. I had hit my head and had a concussion and was dazed which was mistaken for intoxication (in addition to the police saying I smelled of alcohol even though I don't drink, ever). I was driving the speed limit, I passed the field sobriety test and the breathalyzer (0.00), and my license was NOT suspended - they still hit me with 4 charges. Lawyer Matheson took it to trial, and I was found Not Guilty on all charges.
