The criminal defense team at Hatch Little and Bunn is the exemplar of the best legal defense in Raleigh. They are professional, and do care for their clients. During my case, they answered all my questions in a timely manner and comforted me when the stakes were high. I came to this firm about a year ago needing their help to defend me in a complicated criminal case and interreacted with Bill Young, Aaron Goforth, and Devon Newton. The firm secretaries and the paper work are just top notch and convenient. All in all, you never go wrong hiring Hatch Little and Bunn criminal defense team.

The day I contacted HLB and spoke with Mr. Young, I was confident my case would be handled professionally and I would get the best possible outcome......which I did. He made a very difficult situation less stressful and responded to my questions quickly and compassionately. Mr. Goforth appeared in court on my behalf and negotiated a settlement that was the best I could hope for. I am so grateful for their knowledge and professionalism and I thank God for directing me to their firm. I pray I won't need their services again, but if I am ever asked to recommend a knowledgeable,compassionate and trustworthy law firm that delivers a favorable resolution, I will definitely recommend HLB. This review focuses on Phillip Cowan, Family Law Attorney, at HLB: I retained Mr. Cowan 4 years after my very dramatic and contentious custody case was going nowhere with a handful of other lawyers and 2 previous law firms. Phillip is fierce, he is thorough, he is methodical, and he is knowledgeable. He forecasted strategies, he worked after hours, and showed true compassion and concern for my daughter. In the end, Phillip got me a better result than I could ever imagine! Custody cases are hard and stressful but having a warrior like Phillip beside you makes it so much easier!!!

I was pleased to be represented by Mr. Aaron M. Goforth in a criminal accusation. He had taken my case over from his colleague who was absent on the day when my hearing was scheduled. Mr. Goforth could quickly jump in. He asked great questions and listened to me carefully in order to understand my situation better. What I particularly liked was that he explained risks vs potential benefits to me thoroughly which allowed me to make an informed decision regarding the strategy. Overall, he made me feel strong and that I was in good hands. Although my case got dismissed (which was a victory itself), I would have felt confident to have it heard. I do recommend working with this team and Mr. Goforth in particular.

Working with Mr Little (as well as Mr Goforth and Ms Reetz) was a welcomed pleasure. I needed representation in a matter that involved the TSA. Mr Little and the team was extremely responsive and communicated with me via phone and email often. They represented me and cleared up the matter efficiently. I also had a need to contact them nearly a year later with a request for direction involving the same case - again they were very quick at responding and directing me appropriately. I would highly recommend this team for your needs!
