I feel that I was misled about cost and ended up paying $3000 for two emails and some advice. The "get acquainted" meeting must have been incredibly expensive.

Stoel Rives Seattle, under partner Karl Oles, is at best a pedestrian law firm; communication is far below average as is the legal counsel itself. My company went through several different attorneys at the Stoel Rives firm, it was like musical chairs— they kept leaving. I initially hired Karl Oles, and had high expectations with this firm, but if you are looking for professional legal council and someone you can count on to be in your corner, keep looking. After spending nearly $100,000 on legal fees, I was never given a clear understanding of what to expect, or how far the legal challenge would go. There are far better options in Seattle.

All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
