I felt that she did not communicate well with me. I felt a lot of her job was left for me to do. After my divorce, that lasted 3 years, I felt that I could now be a paralegal. Highly overpriced!!!!!
A close family member, the executor of a small estate with a simple will, hired attorney Connie J. Merwine. Unfortunately, the experience has been frustrating and disappointing. Despite the estate's straightforward nature, Ms. Merwine has prolonged the process while charging excessive fees to the estate. What should have been a quick task has dragged on unnecessarily. Ms. Merwine has blocked access to vital information, leaving beneficiaries in the dark about the estate’s status and delays. Instead of providing clarity, she suggested beneficiaries hire their own lawyers for information—an unreasonable and costly recommendation given the estate’s size. Even more concerning is that legal obligations appear to have been willfully ignored, raising significant questions about her compliance with the law. Given her lack of professionalism, transparency, and responsiveness, I strongly caution against using Ms. Merwine for any legal matter.
She will tell you things like he's decision is made and you have to take it. Basically she makes it sound like you are on the loosing side and discourages the client. i am not the only one with this experience either
