Mr. Schiffman and his staff are helpful, experienced, qualified, and compassionate. I could not have navigated the disability trail without them.

So I had an appointment with Alan Schiffman today. figured I'd write a review for future seekers of disability lawyers in the area. I have to say I was more than pleased with the attention to detail and the knowledge pertaining to the disability system. Even informed me of a type of claim that I might qualify for because of when my injury was sustained. He went over everything and always asked if I was understanding, more than willing to explain further. He made me feel comfortable when I usually have anxiety issues in doctors and lawyers offices.{para}He's the kind of guy where he's not gonna try to just take your money. He going to try and find a way for you to get the benefits you deserve without his help. But when it comes to the point of necessity, he'll exhaust all options before he'll quit fighting for you. Ive had a couple bad experiences with Disability Lawyers where they just overlooked my claim completely and refused to help. Even had appointments canceled. Heck, when I came here, I was 30 mins early and he got to me within 10 mins pretty much. That might not always be possible, but when it is, he'll do it.{para}If you need the help, you at least owe it to yourself to have a sit down with him or his partners and see if need his services.

Mr. Schiffman and his entire team are instrumental in my being awarded both my Social Security Disability, and my Long Term Disability cases. I have needed to confer with Mr. Puig regarding an Automobile accident that I was in. Throughout the years that I have needed the services of this law firm, I have been dealt with, compassion, honesty, and most of all in a timely manor. I have received responses to questions that I asked, even after business hours. Mr. Schiffman is the best lawyer to use.

I contacted the Schiffman Puig Law firm for assistance with a SS Disability claim. During my meeting with Mr. Alan Schiffman, he was able to straighten out the status of my claim with SS. In doing so he was able to make a reasonable determination that the reconsideration request with SS already submitted had been approved. Furthermore, Mr. Schiffman believed it unethical and wrong to officially represent me and take a fee since the reconsideration request had already been approved. His honesty and objectivity are hard to find. The firms expertise and knowledge alleviated a substantial amount of stress and I would not hesitate to use or recommend their counsel.

Mr. Schiffman was extremely helpful to me during the difficult process of dealing with Social Security. He was organized, friendly, and he took the time to explain things to me that I did not understand. He was always quickly available, through phone and email.

One of the nice things he does is answer your email, even after hours or on the weekends. His office staff is so organized that when he answers my email, he sends it to the appropriate staff member to handle. It's nice to see that kind of follow up.
