Hired Attorney

When you’re injured and your lawyer recommends to settle, the best you’re going to get, don’t sign. Attorney Chisholm fails to tell you once you settle your Quality of care is lowered. You get put on a lower tier of care and the insurance company will deny deny deny when you need care. Comp insurance rates are over 39 years old. Worker’s comp only has to pay $150 for dr.’s appt. when the dr. could bill mass health $850. Or a trial spinal cord stimulator in 2020 is $8000-$10,000. Workers comp. rate is $1600. When I informed Eric about this he said to CALL Tufts. Would anyone feel comfortable getting a trial scs by a place that will do it for $1600? When it costs $8-$10 grand. Then he tells me straight out in email that sometimes it’s easier to use mass health!!!!!! What did I pay $10,ooo for? I could’ve presented, and had, all the paperwork. Shady place,DIA, Eric let my 1st lawyer, who never showed up to court, get $4000 for nothing else except for future business at my expense.

Judges only approve a settlement if its in the injured worker's best interest. You DON'T get lower tiered medical care after settling. Wish we could control or influence costs of medical procedures, but its the MA Division of Insurance/DIA/Dr's office.
