When I was in need of legal assistance, I researched many law firms and made the decision to work with James Munafo & Associates. I am so glad I decided to work with James and his paralegal, Jen. They were extremely helpful, making it so that I didn't have to worry about trying to work directly with my auto insurance company or my medical insurance carrier. They handled all aspects of my case very professionally and thoroughly, and any time I left email messages or voice messages for them outside of regular business hours, they were very quick to respond as soon as they were back in the office. I am confident the outcome of my case was much more favorable than it would have been, had I tried to do things myself, or even if I had chosen another law firm to represent me. I was looking for a good attorney to handle an accident case. I was hit by an out of town driver. It involved many surgeries and long battle with one of the insurance companies. He settled it faster than I was expecting. When the case was finished and the medical insurance refused to pay on of the surgeons, he took time to help me secure payment for that as well. Over all it was a positive experience.

James is a too passive an individual and I don't really feel like he went to bat for me as a defense attorney. i was unimpressed with what he did for me considering how much I paid him which was WAY above average for my type of case. I could have gotten the same plea bargain using a free Public Defender and so I was very unhappy with Mr. Munafo's representation and would not use him again nor recommend him to anyone.
