Hired Attorney

Kyle recently provided estate planning for my elderly father. Unable to get any recommendations, I was lucky to find Kyle through an internet search. My dad is extremely hard of hearing and very self-conscious about it. Kyle put him at ease and during one visit even left to retrieve his own hearing aids! I like that Kyle works out his own home and is not part of a large practice. He provides personal service and great advice in a simple and straight forward way.

My parents are aging and have been distributing their estate among my siblings and me. My husband and I needed to set up a complete estate plan and Kyle was recommended to us. We are happy we took the advice and used him to help us with the planning. He was very good in explaining the different options and explaining why he would recommend the ones he did. He was always quick to respond to our email questions and quick to get our estate planning completed. We trust his expertise in estate planning and would recommend him to others.

Kyle was extremely knowledgeable, responsive, and patient in answering a long list of highly detailed questions concerning the draft of the trusts and other estate planning documents for my wife and me. His integrity and intelligence are obvious. He is personable, has a nice sense of humor, and sizes up a family situation very quickly and accurately. He presents a number of options to be considered, and although he will make recommendations, he wants the estate plan to be what you choose.

Hired Attorney

After relocating from out of state to Kansas City MO, I have been searching for an attorney to handle a matter pertaining to family trust. While the particular matter was something that Kyle does not handle at his firm, he was nice enough to return my call and listen to me explain the situation. He then offered suggestions on locating attorneys that might be able to assist me. Although I did not hire Kyle he was very helpful.

I believe the documents are good, but his administrative support is substandard and - in fact - sent a letter to me afterward directing me to file me paperwork in Johnson County when I live in another county. Fortunately, Kyle had directed me otherwise so I completed this task correctly.
