We had a concern about getting tenants out of a house we purchased. We were given good advice about how to proceed. The tenants used every minute they had before leaving, but they did leave. When it turned out that we did not need to actually do an eviction, Kistemaker Business Law Group refunded our unused retainer money. I thought that showed integrity.
After turn over issues with both our developer and the management company chosen by the developer. One of the first things our homeowner elected board chose to do was to select legal representation for our community. Our management company had a recommendation but we decided that we would like an independent choice, someone who would be an advocate on our behalf with no relationship elsewhere. We worked with the developer as best we could in an attempt to establish a good working relationship but it was obvious that we needed a change. Kistemaker Law was instrumental in protecting our community in several key areas, areas that a community needs professional guidance with. This is the best choice our community could have made. Of all the firms considered, Kistemaker stood out. They are local, small but very effective, hands on and responsive.
Working with Erum Kistemaker was an education as she not only fought hard for justice in our HOA dispute but explained the law and how to find it for ourselves as we journeyed together.
