I have been on SSDI for many years and still learned a few things listening to his videos on YouTube. I wish I had a lawyer like him when I was applying for SSDI, especially when I had to appear by myself before the Social Security Doctor to determine if my benefits would be approved or not. They were, but I was terrified. I feel he is an advocate for our benefits and is a voice for the Disabled where we have none. I've spoken to a lot of lawyers and ultimately chose to go it alone in my quest for benefits, but in this day and age, I don't recommend it. If I needed help and he were in my state, it would be the first call I make. Actually, I will still see if he will give me advice even if he can't represent me in court.
Have watched so many of his YouTube videos. That are very informative and honestly, have helped me understand how SSDI works and prepare me for my upcoming hearing. I unfortunately did not, nor could use Walter as he does not practice in my state. I believe I’ve made a mistake using a big box attorney. My hearing is in 2 weeks and I have yet to speak to an attorney nor been told anything about hearing except when it is. My life is on the line here. Thank goodness for Walters videos, atleast I feel a little prepared.
