Kaufman and Lynd, PLLC is a law firm established in 1999 with an office in Orlando, FL. At this office location, there are 2 lawyers practicing foreclosure defense, residential foreclosure, commercial foreclosure and 89 other areas of law.
After a good deal of time and money the case was dropped within 3 weeks of completion by Kel Attorneys. The advice they gave was completely wrong. I was told that they would be there to represent and no one showed and it left me hanging with no resolution and a total loss.
I mentioned when we first met I am a now single mother of 2, I have a permanent injunction against my soon to be ex husband, and all I was looking for was someone to carry out the work in which they were hired. Your company has caused me nothing but headaches leaving me to believe that you all were nothing but an added stress, leaving me with more problems than I originally had. There was no guidance nor advise. There was nothing but confusion, stress, and last minute demands.
Was kept in the dark and contact was only made when we asked questions. Dragged out the problem but was willing to finish if we drew up another contract. Mediation went nowhere and was assigned an attorney who didn't know our case. No contact and information was given unless we DEMANDED it.
As a client of KEL attorneys I wasn't kept up to date on my case. Calls to the firm went unreturned. They weren't up to speed on laws and regulations relating to VA insured loans. My case was dismissed and the Lis Pendens still shows up in public records, preventing financing other real estate. They moved to dismiss the case as the company filing failed to show they owned the note. The Satisfaction of Mortgage was from the original mortgage holder and not the bank who file the case.
They charged me $750 but not provide the service, they also refuse to refund.
KEL, LawyersAsap, Englett and associates are scam artist! They will take your money and pass your case around to other attorneys and drag your case out. The worst mistake was hiring this firm who scammed me out over 10k of lawyer fees. My child was kidnapped so I felt for their lies. Read the BBB horror stories of this firm and believe them!
the short story is after their have 5 different attorneys quite their firm back to back over a year and each time the new one having no idea what was /is going on nearly losing a 500,000 property and charging use double what was agreed upon.

And in the end we the customer had to represent ourselves to settle the matter.
Thought we were getting the best legal advice it turned out KEL got our money because they actually told us what they thought we wanted to hear. After they got our money we found out the advice we were given was actually incorrect. They would only refund a small portion of our hard earned money. Why should we pay them for a gross mistake on their part? They should be ashamed of themselves. When I informed them I wanted a refund we were given the major run around have seen a refund yet.
We have had no success in getting a return phone call or email since our initial visit over a month and 1/2 ago! They got our deposit and first payment and have yet to be available to offer any much needed council. Wishing I had read the reviews BEFORE we hired them! Seeking new council and how to get my money back.
They took my money and did NOTHING!!!!
I have been waiting for refund almost 4 months now.
They are terrible company.Every time someone else talking with me and there is no clue about the case.
