I was represented by another attorney prior to meeting Mr. Palmissano. After we had a consultation, I immediately retained his services as I knew he was an expert on family law. Despite my unique case he knew EVERY aspect of the law. Mr. Palmissano is amazing. He takes the time to talk to me, very fair about billing(despite his expertise),and knows family law inside and out! The attorney I had didn't seem have the best interest for me or my family. Was not able to come up with results. The answer seemed to always be it is what it is, nothing can be done. I do not feel that the attorney fought as hard as others I have heard about. For what I paid them I felt my representation was mediocre at best. Communication was good but was charged for every bit of communication there was even if it was a 2 minute conversation or a very brief email.
My case was a straight forward divorce. I was told the cost should not exceed $2.5k and it was $6k and still not resolved. Jennifer Hoffman was my attorney and she was inexperienced and it showed.
