Searching for an attorney is like trying to find a quarter made before 1964 in a bag full of 2021’s; they may look the same, but one is solid silver, and the other are cheap imitations. No one is perfect, but I stepped in “it” so badly I had to look at the bottom of my shoe to see if it was dog poo! Mastagni & Holsted are on retainer for my association and I was paired with Supervising Attorney Jason Ewert, Esq. Mr. Ewert is down to earth, thorough, attentive and a straight-shooter. He gave me excellent legal advice and navigated the State Personnel Board hearing with the ease of a maestro, like Horowitz playing Moonlight sonata. It was amazing to see how well prepared he was, especially in comparison to the Deputy Attorney General. Eloquent, no-nonsense. Even if that isn’t a sentence, but more of a statement, Mr. Ewert writes even better than he speaks. While I am not a great orator and have never claimed to be, listening to Mr. Ewert was exquisite and highly recommend.
