I hired Jeff to represent me to get grandparent visitation rights. I did not feel that he represented me well especially given the amount of money I had to pay him. I found him to be rude and it was very hard to get responses back from him or talk to him about anything. We ended up settling out of court and I felt that Jeff did not work hard at all to get me the visitation rights that I should have gotten. Working with him was as stressful as the case itself & I lost a lot!
This law firm shouldn't even get 1 star, they took our case and we paid $1,000. From the very beginning we asked for our money back because we didn't trust them but Allison told us that "Mr. Courtney and his team were dedicated to us"... the Friday before our court on Monday we got an EMAIL saying that they were going to have to decline our case out of nowhere. They don't care about you or your case. Just the money. This is the worst legal team I have witnessed and Allison has the worst advice.
Frequent change of scheduled appointments. Doesn't inform you of all paperwork received regarding your case. Doesn't fully research case to be fully prepared to present in court. Lack of his actions caused legal actions against myself.
Courtney law was by far the worst experience. I retained them for a custody dispute and almost lost because of the lack of representation. I rarely spoke with Jeff and only received legal advice from his wife/secretary and daughter. This went on for 6 months with calls every week stating the defendant is not in compliance and the only response i recevied was to file for sole custody again by his wife. I was humilated and degraded on many occasions by his wife and daughter. They are very unprofes
