Hired Law Firm

Contacted the firm Via this site. Got a call from Mr DePanfilis. During the discussion of my case it was obvious that Mr DePanfilis wa more dedicated to e knowing if I have the retainer or is he wasting his time, his words, than the case. I inquired about his rates and billing practices and he quoted me a retainer and then proceeded to say do you have that money or are we wasting time. I as a client didn't even have time to ask meaningful questions and or have a meaningful conversation about representation with Depanfilis before he had that rude question about the retainer. In my opinion if you want a lawyer who wants to know the subject matter of your legal problem inside and out first then discuss the charges reasonably, treats you with respect then this one's not for you.

Hired Law Firm

We have bought and sold two homes in CT and two in NY. The service from David Stergas and Lou DePanfilis was poor on virtually every level. Often, emails and questions went unanswered. Paperwork was delivered days after we were told it would be prepared and delivered. The relationship between Mr. Stergas's and Mr. DePanfilis and the realtor was much stronger than their representation of our needs. They often pushed the Buyers needs over ours as the Seller.

All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
