I have had an open case since September of 2021. My lawyer through BurnettDriskill was highly incompetent. They allowed the judge to rule against me, and did nothing to follow up to dispute the incorrect ruling. They allowed the nonsense determination of the judge to be final and didn't try for another appeal. Then they had the audacity to ask me if I wanted to start a new claim, with the Onset date of Oct 29th, 2024. So, the past 3 years of medical records and my medical history of all time are null and void if I were to move forward. They were provided with more than enough medical records to prove my disability initially. Now they expect me to start a brand new claim with new medical records. I am unable to even move off of the couch I've been living on for the past 4 years and have been dealing with these issues for 20 years. DO NOT USE BURNETTDRISKILL UNLESS YOU HAVE OVER 3 YEARS TO WASTE WITH NOTHING TO SHOW FOR IT. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR WELL BEING.

This law firm will drag your case on for years to come. I waited 6 years with rarely a returned call. Only one receptionist was nice to me. The rest seem cold and disingenuous and usually didn’t return my call or keep updated contact information. I ended up losing everything and 3 years later , the owner sprang a collection wanting even more money from me. As a client calling upon them for help, they do not care.

They didn't explain the difference in disability and social security. The lawyer fell asleep during our hearing which consisted of nothing but he SS law judge sitting in front of a computer and reading the Dr. notes that stated my husband was disabled and found unable to work. For the money, I think we should have gotten more explanation and help.
