Ms. Maiden cost me dearly in time, money and emotional well-being. While she said all the right things when i was able to get her attention, she in fact dropped the ball on my case and probably should have faced legal consequences herself for neglecting to present a settlement offer that my ex had proposed. She was negligent and disingenuous (actually two-faced is the more accurate term) in caring for me, my kids and my case in general.
Hired this attorney to represent me in my separation. Extremely stressful and depressing time in my life. Very little communication other than regarding her fee. No evidence that she did any work towards resolving the matter. Openly mocked me to her staff.
After being married for 22 years and having two children with my only husband he filed for divorce using the reason " mental cruelty" as he had no other reason. He was openly having an affair and moved in with this woman. I received nothing. Not one cent. By law i was entitled to half of each of his 401k plans. I was a house wife and extremely sick with serious disease. Then after the sale of our marital home, Ms. Tavss gave my half from escrow account that was in my name to my ex husband.
