Mr. McCoy was able to get the judge to return a "Not Guilty" verdict. Obviously, I was very happy and satisfied with his representation.
I was unhappy with my experience with Mr. McCoy during my divorce. He draws you in with a fatherly concern; later, if you experience any issues such as receiving threats from your ex he leaves you high and dry. He completed my divorce but became distant, cold, and unapproachable. I wanted to fire him but didn't want to lose my retainer fee that was already paid. In addition, his office tried to double-charge me and I had to prove I had already paid their fee. Not happy with this office.
If I could give zero stars I would! The office does NOT return phone calls or emails in a timely manner, the counsel(Carl) is ineffective. He does NOT listen or direct his client! He leads them into court with NO PLAN, he does not give legal advice he leaves that up to the client to “settle”. This has nothing to do with winning or losing a case, this has to do with integrity and professionalism! Knowing a woman was in an abusive relationship and children being in an abusing home he allowed “deals” to be made! Shame on him! But, he’s sure to want over $7000! Very ineffective counsel! I can’t speak for his son but do NOT use Carl
