communication was not that good. We obtained medical records that they could not or would not. I am not sure of the standard practice, but with the settlement for back pay, he took his percentage, but when we had to pay back some the the back pay, we did not receive a refund for his percentage.
After meeting with an attorney from this office, we received a letter stating that they would not be able to assist us further, but with no explanation. Months later, we received a letter from SSA with a hearing date and began to prepare for it when we found out that Greenbaum's office had never withdrawn officially from the case and would receive their percentage if we won. It took weeks of fruitless voicemails and rude customer service before anyone agreed to send a letter to withdraw.
They told me the government can do whatever it wants in other words i had no rights. It was an angry lawyer that told me that. They don't care about people. i received strange communications from the social security office and they were unavailable for comment. The lawyer sounded angry at me and I had done nothing wrong toward her I just needed help.
