About Leon Matchin

I always knew I would be an attorney.My uncle was a prosecutor and a successful defence attorney, so why not do what he does? I graduated Cum Laude from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1998. I started Seton Hall University School of Law at Newark, New Jersey the fall of that same year, part time. Also that year I got a full time job at a law firm in Elizabeth, New Jersey from which it was an easy 15 minute commute to my night classes to law school for four years. I graduated Seton Hall in 2002 and immediately hung my shingles. I never worked for anyone as a practicing attorney. I did everything an attorney does at the firm I worked at, except of course represent clients in court. When I got my license to practice I went out on my own right away. I was 26 years old. My four years working and studying gave me the confidence and knowledge to take such a leap of faith at such a young age. I am still working for myself as a practicing attorney to this day representing clients in court charged with various criminal, drunk driving and traffic offenses.

Leon has helped me, family members and some friends of mine with multiple different driving infractions. He always gives an immediate response, is very polite, and does an awesome job. All of my tickets I have hired Leon for have been completely removed. I cannot recommend Leon highly enough - I believe he is the best attorney in the northern and southern Jersey area that one can hire if having been charged with a DWI/CRIMINAL and/or related offenses. I am very pleased. I will continue to give Leon’s info to all my friends. He has gotten all my friends traffic infractions/criminal cases dismissed as well. His services are well worth every penny. Navigation of the legal system is difficult. It was especially difficult for me, considering I live on the west coast! Would my case have been dropped if I represented myself? Probably. However, I would have spent countless hours trying to figure out the next steps in my case. I feel like my time is valuable as a primary care provider, so Leon and his team made it easy to get back to my patients without needing to reschedule any of their appointments. So yeah, paying Leon to get me through the legal system efficiently and effectively was money well spent! I highly recommend his services, even if you know you are innocent!

Working with Mr. Matchin was a great experience, he is very easy to work and very passionate knows his laws and works with absolutely no pressure. He help me beat an extremely hard case which I was looking at 10 years and we got it down to only probation. He is very easy to communicate whether its a sit down meeting, e-mail, text, phone call. I built trust with Mr. Matchin and I always will value his advice. I would highly recommend this attorney. Although I hope to never get introuble again, if I ever do I would not hesitate to go with Mr. Matchin again.
