Nothing worse than lowlife scoundrel practices and unethical defiance of the formal Lawyer's Oath and the Civility Oath of South Carolina than the fact that Johnnie J. Dodds was also a Municipal Judge in Mount Pleasant for 9 years and has been Sullivan’s Island’s Prosecuting Attorney for the past 15 years! History proves Dodds is incapable of truly taking on a case/being paid as legal representation without calling in favours to pre-determine the outcome in every scenario. Dodds has ridden his blue-blood coattails and used his grandfather's name his entire life. Dodds ran papers for the mayor's office to learn all the back-chamber, gentleman's handshake agreements that have allowed him to threaten city & county employees, inspectors, prosecutors, clerks of the court, all the way up to SC Supreme appellate courts. Dodds proves 10% ethical/90% fraud=Dodds law! Not sure how he sleeps; Dodds knows of his corruption/coercion/intent to cause harm to families. This can come full circle...
During a two-year probate case, Mr. Dodds completely failed to communicate, return phone calls or return e-mails. I was typically transferred by the receptionist to his paralegal who would tell me the lawyer would get back to me. He rarely did. I eventually had to hire another attorney, who was able to expedite the case. The consequence was that the probate judge, in essence, fined me for "negligence" in my duties as a Personal Representative, due to the extreme amount of time the case took.
