This is our third time working with Brian. Two years ago, Brian helped us purchase our first condo and we were more than satisfied. Therefore, this year when we decided to buy a new house and to sell our condo, we chose Brian again immediately. Brian is very knowledgably and thorough. For the purchase of the house, because the seller was a foreigner, there were extra tax forms for us to fill up. Brian was able to explain to us in a concise way. He is very easy to communicate with and always happy to answer any questions that we have, some of them were even a bit naïve. Brian is also very responsive. He almost replied to all my emails in 5 min. We can't recommend highly enough!

The Law Office of Brian J. Russell is rude, arrogant, dishonest, and unprofessional. He was referred by a Chinese real estate agent who brands herself as "Top Producer in Chicago". That was our first time buying house in Chicago so we did not have much experience. Both the agent and Brian kept lying about clauses in contract. They did NOT care about your interest at all but only wanted to get their commission asap. If you google The Law Office of Brian J. Russell, you will find some interesting misconducts by this "attorney" in history. I strongly recommend you NOT to use this attorney and any agent he works with.
