Branigan & Associates is a law firm established in 2005 with an office in Montclair, NJ. At this office location, there are 7 lawyers practicing divorce, family, matrimonial and 23 other areas of law.
I hired Branigan law firm for a traffic violation. Though the attorney did not show up on the first court date, possibly due to miscommunication between him and the court, the firm sent an attorney Mr.Logan Terry next time though I canceled their services. In the few minutes of my time with Mr.Logan I found him to be a down to earth, soft spoken ,highly experienced person who gave me very crisp and valuable suggestions. He stood with me in front of the judge and had my ticket reduced to No Point
In May 2019, I hired Branigan and associates for a traffic case and paid an initial retainer of $1,22.00 and then later, over $600.00. I approved both of those charges. A year and a half later, my credit card was charged an additional $2,015.00 without my knowledge or consent. I am fighting this with the New Jersey attorney ethics board and the arbitration board. Incidentally, the company changed their name after the "work" they did with me. This is a fraudulent and unethical firm!
I hired this firm to assist with a Criminal Mischief charge. Initial retainer $1,500 which is all this firm should have been paid. They sent me an attorney who had no idea what my case was about until we got to court and then we had to go to court again to have the charges dismissed and yet another attorney with no knowledge of my case attended but was late. I fired this attorney with the court as my witnesses and 6 months later they charged my credit $5,900 additional fees.....They need to be punished....DO NOT USE THIS FIRM EVER...……...
