Califf & Harper, P.C. is a law firm established in 1869 with an office in Moline, IL. At this office location, there are 12 lawyers practicing corporate law, commercial law, labor and employment and 36 other areas of law.
My experience with this office has been a complete nightmare that makes me want to put a bullet in my mouth. Aside from the estate that has been stuck in probate for 8 YEARS , I am a healthy individual. Dealing with an attorney that is incompetent and incapable of completing their job on the other hand is a nightmare I’d never wish upon anyone. Not only has it taken over 8 years to complete this estate, I have no say in how the money is invested and the people that will be investing it will be taking a large percentage. If you want to wait at least 8 years to see a single penny from an estate, go to Califf & Harper. If you’d like things done in a more timely manner, go with someone else. These attorneys don’t even have proper information on who to go with for investments yet they’re supposed to be attorneys for wealth management. I’d highly recommend going to someone else.
We used Califf and Harper for many years. In 2018 we obtained legal services again. Our usual attorney was retiring and referred us to Keisha Douglas, still within the firm. Keisha Douglas is the worst attorney ever! She padded her bill and then fired US! I would NOT recommend this firm.
