I've read his memos, and was surprised by not only the clarity and cogency of his arguments, but also by occasional references to the russian countryside or GoT. He will get up (or never actually go to sleep) to be by your side at 4 a.m. to defend you in court, or to lift weights. A true renaissance man.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.
