I would give zero stars if I could! This is a strong WARNING to anyone considering Katushca M. Grass as a GAL for their children. Kathy demonstrates a blatant lack of concern for the safety and well-being of children, exposing them to both physical and mental abuse. She manipulates vulnerable children already facing traumatic situations, forcing them to conform to her directives while ignoring critical warning signs, whether verbal or written, from these children expressing their fears. Kathy prioritizes the demands of the highest-paying client over the children's needs. I have attached screenshots of messages from her that clearly illustrate this. When I raised legitimate concerns about Kathy's disregard for my daughter's fears and the anxiety stemming from her manipulation and the father's abusive behavior, Kathy reacted defensively. She even went so far as to blame me for my daughter's suffering, claiming that my choice of father for her was the root of the problem.
Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had with a law firm. Grass & Reyes and Associates are not only unprofessional but downright negligent. Throughout the entire process, it was clear that my case was not a priority--communication was sparse, and when I did receive updates, they were vague and unhelpful. Grass & Reyes and Associates showed a complete lack of empathy and attention to detail, making crucial errors that significantly impacted my case. I often felt like I was fighting my own battles, as the firm offered little guidance or support. They were quick to send invoices, but when it came to actually advocating for my interests, they were nowhere to be found. Based on the countless negative reviews I've seen and my own terrible experience, I strongly warn anyone against using Grass and Reyes and Associates, as a legal representative--especially for cases involving children. This firm is a complete disaster from top to bottom. They don't care about your family or your case.
