Hired Law Firm

Attorney Brooke Houston caused unnecessary stress and made an already difficult situation so much worse for my family. She was hired to work on a guardianship case for me after my mother was diagnosed with dementia. Her lack of communication, errors in all the filings she prepared, and inexperience created delays, stress and the need to hire a new attorney to correct her mistakes. Brooke was completely inexperienced and ineffective with our case. When I asked to speak to the attorney who managed her, I was told she didn't have one. From the start, rather than telling us that they didn't have an attorney available for our case, Michael Keepman passed us onto to Brooke and led us to believe she was experienced in guardianship cases. Right from the start Brooke was unresponsive to calls and email. Her assistant Angelina and her made clerical errors on the forms that were to be filed and missed important information and delayed the case by not returning calls to the county, GAL, or me.
