Gina Smalley was assigned to our case by Judge Robert Flournoy. From the very beginning, she was biased and deceitful. More than twenty people attempted to contact her to speak on my behalf and she did not return any of their phone calls. In her report, she twisted my words, she misquoted the children and their teachers, and told several lies. She knew that I could not afford to pay her fees, so she clearly sided with the parent who could. She refused to look through evidence proving that parent's pattern of abuse and even recommended to the judge that I be declared mentally unfit to parent. Gina Smalley knows how to abuse the system and the power entrusted to her. I sincerely advise that one should avoid her at all cost.
Horrible Guardian Ad Litem. Does not understand or care to do the entire process. She was very biased. Not professional and certainly not concerned with the welfare of the child. Ms. Smalley did not even view the child in the home. I would NOT recommend her to my worst enemy.
