It is never an easy decision to hand a hotly contested divorce case to a firm that you haven't done business with before, and I was grandfathered into this firm by my wonderful counsel who lefty a prior firm, to move to Daugherty. Of course there was NO WAY I was not going to "follow my lawyer" (Ms. Wallace) who was already doing an INCREDIBLE job defending my interest in the divorce! Needless to say that my decision to move with her to Daugherty was the second BEST thing that I did, the first being to retain her for my case! The dedication which my attorney and her staff placed on my case was so personalized that I truly felt as if they were defending a 'member of their own family', and that's I felt throughout the year+ duration of my case settlement! The 1k character limit in this page is not enough to 'sing my praises of this firm and my counsel', so I'll wrap it up by simply saying that there are STILL AMAZING Attorneys and Firms with the UTMOST INTEGRITY you can rely on!

I have been a client of Ms Kate for a few years now. The firm is excellent very family oriented providing services for all different legal cases. Additionally they have bilingual staff ,they understand diversity and different needs based on each individual case. My case was Changning and Kate was excellent.

My attorney with this firm was very unresponsive in communicating with me. They never answered my messages, and did not make me feel like they cared at all about me or my case. I still have pending legal matters, but will look for another attorney.

The attorney handled my case so poorly that the custody/visitation order and support needed to be amended, however the attorney at The Daugherty Law Firm requested a fee to amend the blatant errors in the order in which the firm created. Greed over service is what I received from The Daugherty Law Firm!

Mrs. Katherine I. Daugherty and her “family law firm” possesses absolutely no morals and can not be trusted with you personal information. Mrs. Katherine Daugherty was reported to the Virginia Bar on multiple occasions for sharing sensitive private case information to third parties. DO NOT TRUST THIS LAW FIRM!!

The Daugherty law firm DOES NOT care if their client is legitimate and will advocate to remove a loving father from his kids. The Dougherty Law firm does not make any attempt to validate any acusation their client makes and just want the payment
