Madeline is phenomenal. Navigating the judicial system is incredibly stressful and often overwhelming, but working with her made the process so much easier. I’ve dealt with one issue after another over the years and have learned that many attorneys will talk a big game but fail to deliver. Madeline is not like that. She does the work and moves quickly to address every concern. Her honesty, transparency, and clear communication immediately set her apart. From the moment I started working with her, I felt assured and confident that she would handle everything effectively. If I ever have another issue with a slumlord (and in L.A. County, there are more than enough), I won’t hesitate to return to Madeline. She knows the law, she’s efficient, and she fights hard for her clients. She truly makes an otherwise overwhelming process manageable. If you’re facing landlord-tenant disputes, especially for the first time, I can’t recommend Madeline enough. My family and I are forever grateful.

Madeline helped me with my eviction case, and I’m grateful for her support. She truly cares about her clients and was always quick to respond to my questions. She was patient and made a difficult situation feel a lot less overwhelming. I highly recommend her.

Took on my Unlawful detainer case for a LA student housing right before trial as I was feeling not confident. Representation was holistic and received a Judgement in my favor. I am hard of speaking and she was still able to work with me through alternate communication methods that were comfortable with me.

Atty. Madeline was very professional and compassionate for the eviction case against the tenants who used every attempt to delay the process. The tenants used different tactics: covid, avoided service, uninhabitability, and bankruptcy twice. Each time she was able to defend and also, recoup for our losses, and win against the tenants. When I was frustrated, she was reassuring and confident in our case, which reduced a lot of stress and fear due to the situation. I am definitely, glad that I hired her and hopefully, never have this situation again, but would and have gladly referred her to others landlords that need help with eviction and were unsuccessful.

Madeline was friendly, knowledgeable, informative and easy to work with. She was able to help me even though I had the court date coming up within 2 weeks. I am satisfied with the way everything turned out. Highly recommend.

Madeline was positive, ethical, professional, and followed up completely. She kept us informed immediately of any and all issues. It isn’t always pleasant needing a lawyer- Madeline was the exception to that. She was a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Madeline Liebreich to anyone who needs the services of a lawyer. All my best to her and her future clients. Always remember that some people will never understand the value a great lawyer, but you can be sure to receive exceptional service from M Liebreich.

I hired Madeline on short notice to assist with an unlawful detainer case after my prior attorney went missing. I retained her to seek a trial continuance or prepare for trial—but instead, she quickly advised that I would lose and pressured me to settle, without taking the time to fully understand the case history or evidence. Communication was almost entirely by text, despite my repeated requests for a phone conversation. I was left feeling uninformed, unsupported, and ultimately pressured into a settlement agreement that forced me out of an affordable unit—something I was trying to avoid by hiring legal help in the first place. I was charged $5K which I found excessive for the brief time spent on case, limited communication, and short court appearance. While she did agree to refund $500, it did little to address the overall lack of meaningful representation. I assumed I was paying for experience, but discovered she was only admitted to the Bar in 2017.

Very unprofessional and lack the commitment to follow through legal cases in a professional manner. Wasted so much money and time for pretty much garbage work, work full of errors and inconsistencies never got a final product that I could approve after months of back and forth with emails where I found myself correcting the work.
