Jake Babcock is an partner at The Darvish Firm, APC, where his practice focuses on business and real estate litigation particularly matters of fraud, breach of fiduciary duties, breach of contract as well as numerous others. Jake has experience from the inception of litigation, from preparing and responding to demand letters, discovery, and various pre-trial motions through trial and post-judgment motions. He also has extensive experience in reviewing, preparing, and negotiating real estate and business contracts. Jake earned his Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School in 2019 before being admitted to the California State Bar. During law school, Jake gained valuable legal experience as a law clerk for a criminal defense and cannabis law firm in Sherman Oaks. There, he was involved in drafting criminal motions, handling corporate transactions, and assisting client businesses with all aspects of the cannabis licensing process.
Outside of his legal practice, Jake is an avid golfer with a passion for classic cars and is a dedicated fan of the Chicago White Sox.
