Hired Attorney Karen Carpenter

Karen does not have adequate support staff. She is very overwhelmed and seems to care about keeping her costs down. Opposed to properly representing her clients. She talks a good story but in reality she just gets through the process with no advocacy for her client. There were several screw ups by her and staff of one. If you are a Male in particular, don't do it! She sides with your ex and opposing attorney. She is worthless and actually damaging for you. She also lied about her areas of expertise. I've never been divorced before but I thought it was bizarre that she charged me her hourly rate to fill out an application to work with her. Is that normal??? Anyway, stay away from her regardless of how nice she may seem. She is an incompetent, cheap. money grabbing low life with dillusions of grandeur. I learned the hard way. DON'T MAKE THE HUGE MISTAKE OF HAVING HER REPRESENT YOU. WHICH ACTUALLY MEANS ADVOCATING FOR YOUR EX WIFE.

I regret that I cannot speak directly to this individual, and am sorry that they felt that they were poorly represented. I added an experienced paralegal to my staff earlier this year and look forward to serving my clients professionally and efficiently.
