I had a free consultation with Carey Collingham and his advice was priceless. He was able to help explain my best options in a logical way. Although the best option was to not use his representation in my case, he was detail orientated and assisted me with the process.

I was struggling to get my knees service connected and have fought with the VA for a while know. Once I had Seth and Angela at Barry Law represent me with my claim, they worked on building the case and the VA just service connected and rated me on my knees thanks to Seth and Angela! They are always available to speak and quick to respond when you need anything. Thank you to the Berry Law team!
I have been trying for a whole to get my case and injuries seen and rated for benefits, but the VA seems to stop my ratings at 90%. Berry Law went above and beyond any expectations that I had and fought for appeals. They came recommended by a local veteran who used them in the past. So I googled them and contacted the firm and got linked with Matthew Bartling in Lincoln, Nebraska. Working with them was a breeze since I was guided throughout the process. Choosing Berry Law seems like the best decision I could have made when I finally got my 100% P&T. This will change my life for me and my family for the better. We're not done yet since the VA got my backpay date wrong, but I’m confident I will end up fine.
After trying for years to work on my VA Disability alone (and a short time with a VSO), I got fed up with the VA system and decided to search for another way to move forward in pursuing my VA Claims. I had seen many ads for lawyers that help veterans with their claims, but I always thought it was scammy until I spoke to a fellow veteran who told me hiring a lawyer was the best thing he had ever done. After that, I found Berry Law with a Google search, and the process of getting paired with a lawyer was painless and was such a relief. Taylor Wikum was easy to talk to and helped me get all the documentation I needed to push my claims forward and ensure that nothing fell through the cracks. I am eternally grateful to Taylor, his assistant, and all the staff at Berry Law. I've been telling many other veterans about this firm and will continue to do so! Thank you so much, Taylor and the Berry Law Firm!
Berry Law made it so seamless for me to get my claim approved. I had done all I could to prove my case to the VA and I had a condition that was rated at 30%. It was a debilitating condition that I felt was a slap in the face. Berry Law made quick work of outlining what I needed to do in order to get my condition re-rated. I got an increase from 30% to 100% - total and permanent - and I'm still waiting for more conditions to finalize. Needless to say, they changed my life! Thanks to TJ and the team for all their hard work!

What was the outcome of your case? With the assistance of Berry Law and Matthew Bartling specifically, my disability rating was increased from 30%, which I had initially contested on my own, to a total of 140%. Consequently, I am now recognized as 100% permanent and total. How has this outcome impacted your life? Prior to this outcome, my wife and I were homeless, I couldn’t retain work, and reliant on family for shelter. Now, I am able to provide a stable home, food, and all of our monthly bills. Additionally, I am receiving the necessary medical, eye, and dental care through the VA. This stability has lead to me getting a remote job that I now work along with going to school.
Mr Jason Thomas has been a god sent miracle to me his personality is super nice his performance is 10 star and his ( in my case ) personal knowledge and back ground military experience with working with the VA has blessed me and my family so much. thank you sir

Corrina Bartels and her staff were very proactive in getting my claims submitted. It took less than 6 months to get my disability rating to 100%. My local rep did not want to help me and even warned my that my rating could be decreased. Corrina and her staff were awesome!

Understanding and navigating Veteran Benefits is complex. I would have never achieved this victory on my own. Berry Law was very attentive to every aspect of my claims. In addition, they kept me abreast as to where we were at with my claims, and what I could expect at each point in the process. Good Job, Berry Law

Martindale-Hubbell® Client Review Ratings™ display reviews submitted by individuals who have either hired or consulted the lawyers or law firms.
The Client Review Rating score is determined through the aggregation of validated responses. People who submit reviews are either individuals who consulted with the lawyer/law firm or who hired the lawyer/law firm and want to share their experience of that lawyer or law firm with other potential clients. Reviewers can be anyone who consults or hires a lawyer including in-house counsel, corporate executives, small business owners, and private individuals.
Martindale-Hubbell validates that a reviewer is a person with a valid email address. As part of the review process, respondents must affirm that they have had an initial consultation, are currently a client or have been a client of the lawyer or law firm identified, although Martindale-Hubbell cannot confirm the lawyer/client relationship as it is often confidential. Martindale Peer Reviews
Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings™ are the gold standard in attorney ratings, and have been for more than a century. These ratings indicate attorneys who are widely respected by their peers for their ethical standards and legal expertise in a specific area of practice.
The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
