Steve solved a serious problem regarding my mother's house (call it a civil or family law issue), and when it came time to sell the house, handled the sale as well (so real estate). I've known him for many years, and highly recommend him.

I have went thru several attorneys in Lexington and Louisville for my family law case and finally found some that was going to fight for me in court room Steve Wides has been my lawyer since 2005 and I trust this man with my life, we have had some major battles in court and we didn’t win every one of them but we won the majority of them and I can’t thank him enough. He isn’t just my attorney but a life long friend and I feel blessed that I found someone that is compassionate, Knowledgeable organized trustworthy reliable professional determined abt my case. You won’t be upset but using him as your lawyer . For the people that left a bad review I think you’ve smoked to much crack or got the attorneys mixed up

Tells it like it is. Great understanding of how the system works. Gets it done. Committed and Authentic. No surprises. Prepares clients and does the legwork. communicates effectively with all possible outcomes. No promises just strait talk.

I have used Steven's service on several occasions, and he has never let me down. He is intelligent, funny and is a and he is obviously respected by peers while in court. I would never consider hiring any other attorney.

Steve is always compassionate, understanding and prompt to return inquiry. I am blessed to have found an attorney who is as wonderful as he is. His staff also is o be commended they are polite personable and informative.

Shoots straight from the hip, no BS

I can only write about Steve as opposing counsel in a divorce. But his reputation in Lexington in not great, and his actions are completely commensurate with the poor reputation. He is probably capable enough, but his communication and responsiveness is AWFUL. My lawyers and I deal with and return correspondence in hours. He takes WEEKS to get back to us. And his responses are very catty and unprofessional. Twice now my ex had to apologize for his ridiculous responses....

Unfortunately, I received a letter on behalf of a customer of mine. We have tried over 8 attempts to reach Mr. Wides regarding the letter that the Law Office of Steven A Wides mailed out asking for response or solution within 10 days from the date of the letter. We've called and left messages with Kristina (sp) and we've emailed with a response from Beth Underwood stating that Mr. Wides would call me (for sure yesterday 12/13/21). Mr. Wides has not returned any call or email what-so-ever. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this firm or Mr. Wides. If he's so busy he cannot return a quick and simple phone call, how can he effectively handle and win YOUR CASE? I feel like Mr. Wides trying to sabotage the situation by purposely not returning any communication made to him within the requested time by Mr. Wides.

The previous reviews were obviously written by his clients. If you are on the opposite side of him in the courtroom be prepared for nothing but lies, drama and corruption. No wonder all of his clients rave about him. His illegal, vile and unethical practices will catch up with him. I wouldn't want to be one of his clients when it does because you'll be left hanging looking for a new attorney.
